Per Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, COVID-19 screening is required for all individuals including employees, students and visitors before entering SMUSD schools and facilities. Screening includes an online check-in concerning cough, shortness of breath, the experience of fever, and contact with a person known to be infected with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. These checks can be done remotely via the online links below or in-person upon arrival. A temperature check with a no-touch thermometer is also conducted at the entry areas.
Students, visitors, and staff who screen positive at entry or who report symptoms at any point during the school day will return home and quarantine as required by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Officer Order.
