CERTFICATED SALARY ADVANCEMENT
The principal will receive the e-mail and if approved types in “APPROVED” and forwards to Mabs Buono in Human Resources. If disapproved, your principal will reply back to you via e-mail.
Please note that course approval should be requested no later than two (2) weeks prior to enrollment and must be taken from approved 4-year colleges accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges or by a regional accreditation commission comparable to the WASC.
When you have completed your courses and have official transcripts, please be sure Mabs receives your official transcript(s) so that she may keep your certificated units on file up to date for the following school year. She will also move you over on the salary schedule effective September 1 of each year should you qualify for advancement. Please note that salary advancement takes place only once per year in September so be sure to have all necessary documents to her no later than September 1 of each year.
