San Marino Unified School District is proud to announce that Carver and Valentine Elementary schools have received Platinum recognition from the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) for the second year in a row for their outstanding implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
This honor recognizes schools that demonstrate excellence in creating positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environments that promote strong social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes for all students. Out of more than 2,500 schools that applied for recognition statewide this year, Carver and Valentine were selected from an elite, distinguished group for their exemplary implementation of PBIS practices.
Carver and Valentine have also been recognized as models for other schools seeking to adopt PBIS best practices in student support and school climate initiatives.
