Join the SMUSD District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) and school site English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)! Family members of English Learners from all four school sites meet quarterly to discuss ways in which we can support our students' linguistic and academic development. Families have the unique opportunity to provide input for the district's EL master plan, educational programs and services for ELs, reclassification procedures, and much more. Plus, it's a wonderful chance to meet with other new and returning families whose children are also fortunate to be learning in two or more languages.
