Barth Athletics Complex Project
Overview
At Huntington Middle School, the opportunity to learn extends far beyond the inside of the classroom. The new two-story Barth Athletics Complex will include a full-sized CIF Regulation gymnasium for the campus, two Media Classrooms, Fitness Room, Boy’s and Girl’s Team Rooms, and a second-floor multi-purpose room. These areas are designed to help facilitate the School’s and Community’s health, fitness, recreational programs, and social events.

What's Happening
- Week of July 29 - Electrical work continues. HVAC continues. Site clean and restoration continues. Landscaping continues. Remaining asphalt on south side gets placed. Gym acoustical panel installation continues. Wrestling room flooring gets installed. Site grading begins.
- Week of August 5 - Electrical work continues. HVAC for gym and wrestling finalizes. Site clean and restoration completes. Construction fencing gets moved to allow for playfield restoration to begin. Teachers move in.
- August 10 - Grand Opening!!
- August 14 - First day of school.
